Legal Career
In December 2019, I decided to go to law school. I had thought about going to law school for several years, and after watching the legal scholar Pamela Karlan testify during Donald Trump's first impeachment hearings, I finally decided to follow through.

The rigor and conformity of law school are especially brutal for an artist, but I graduated from Brooklyn Law School in June 2023. I passed the bar on my first attempt and moved to New Mexico, where I am licensed as an attorney.

Most of my focus in school had been on Civil Rights, Discrimination, and Constitutional Law. In my legal career, I have begun focusing more on Administrative Law and Municipal Development.

Understanding the law has helped open up even more possibilities for me. As with my previous retail business, I do not consider my legal career to be separate from art making, but rather, I now have even more tools with which to work.
